My Rubi

(Masterpiece / Rubinstein I)

myrubi_022314_crop2.jpg

Born 7/1/2013, a Class I SWANA filly with two white hinds and a star. Based on pedigree and this cross, she should be an international Grand Prix dressage mount. She could also be a hunter prospect with impeccable form over fences since there is much success in that arena on both top and bottom of the pedigree.

Sire: Masterpiece (SWANA & ISR/Oldenburg approved) was Reserve Champion of the 2002 30-day stallion test. He is the 2009 USDF Champion Mature Stallion and holds the highest median score ever given in USDF Dressage Sporthorse Breeding: 87.250%. He has scored as high as 84% under saddle, 88% in hand, 9 gaits, and a perfect 10 walk! A winner at DAD, he qualified FEI and open 3rd level at 5 years old. All but one of his foals we have presented have been premium/class I.

Dam: Roux Bien Bleu (Rubi) was imported in utero and is a 3/4 sibling to Rohdiamant! She easily passed Performance Testings with both AHS and ISR/Oldenburg. Her sire, Rubinstein, had 40 wins at Grand Prix and was a member of the 1996 Olympic team. He produced 89 state premium mares and 66 approved stallions including Olympic caliber sons Rhodiamont, Relevant, royal Diamond, and Revan. Rubinstein's full brother Amon also took part in the Olympic Games three times. Johann Hinnemann, the former federal trainer of the German dressage elite, once said, "When we consider a stallion of the century, we refer to Rubinstein. His hereditary transmission is unequalled in respect to rideability seating comfort, affability and preparedness to perform. Truly a legendary stallion." Rubi's dam, St Pr Indullah, is by Inschallah/Furoiso II/Gotthard.

O' Million Dollar Baby
(Ovation x Brilotta)

omilliondollarbaby_092017_2.jpg

This January 2017, ISR/Oldenburg filly was premature, but she is one of the best dressage foals we have had.

Sire: Ovation is a 2009, ISR/Oldenburg stallion, standing 16.3 hands. A huge, elastic mover with a sweet personality, he had the highest dressage score at his stallion inspection. He scores in the 70s and 80s, with 9 on gaits and lateral movements. Among his annual HOY awards for USDF and ISR/Oldenburg, is USDF HOY 3rd Level Freestyle with a score of 76.000%. His sire, Opus, is Dutch registered and ISR/Oldenburg approved. He was 2006 USDF #1 Dressage Breeding Sire (2nd in 2005 and 2004), # 1 NA/WPN Dressage Breeding Sire for both USDF and USEF since 2004, and # 1 Producer of ISR/Oldenburg Premium Mares and Horse of the Year winners since 2005. Opus received a dressage score of 140.59 at his stallion testing, one of the highest ever. He received the only 9 given in the gaits category (by all 4 judges), and one of only two 10's given in ridability! Opus has won 2nd place four times at Dressage at Devon and qualified to 3rd level by 5 years old. Ovation’s dam, EM Windspiel (Weltmeyer x St Pr Argronomia/Argentan/Pik Koenig) is an elite Hanoverian mare with a world-class pedigree. She is by the legendary Weltmeyer and out of a state premium mare by Argentan. Windspiel was USDF HOY with her amateur owner at levels 1 and 2.

Dam: Brilotta is by Briar. At 16.2+ hands, she is a beautiful type with correct legs and huge bones - a freer mover than her sire, by far. She was a Class I filly, and the year of her inspection she was the only foal given a 9 on her trot by SWANA. Briar is a 17 hand stallion who, for 7 years, was the highest ranked dressage stallion in the world. In 2008, he was Champion of Aachen, the world's most prestigious competition. He has been to the Olympics twice. (In 2000 at Sydney, he was the youngest horse to compete.) He has won silver and bronze medals in 4 European Championships, competed in 7 World Cup finals, 2 World Equestrian Games, and is winner of 6 Swedish Championships and has 16 International wins at Grand Prix in several different countries. Briar has produced 8 approved sons (2 being winners of Sweden's stallion test) receiving 10s for rideability and gaits. Brilotta’s dam, Carlotta II, is an incredible moving Trakehner mare, imported from Germany with a top performance pedigree that can't be found anywhere. She is an OSB mare, to whom the Trakehner Verband gave a score of 54 (77%). She is the only daughter in North America of the outstanding jumper Elite Kasparow, who won his 100 day test in Neustadt Dosse with all licensing scores at least 9, and a 10 on his walk. Rosalita is a Premium ISR/Oldenburg mare, also approved AHHA (MM). She is lovely and expressive, with elastic gaits. Born 7/10/05, she's a proven broodmare, and has produced several foals including a provisionally approved stallion, Merry Me, who was high score of his ISR/Oldenburg stallion inspection. Rosalita is one of the prettiest horses you may ever see and has generations of St. Premium and Elite mares throughout her pedigree. Although she had a late start under saddle because of her foals, she is a very good riding horse: extremely smart, supple, naturally round in the bridle, and up in the forehand.  She displays good, forward thinking and shows more ELASTICITY in just her working gaits than most grand prix dressage horses ever show! Her very round body at 16 hands makes her suitable for those wanting a 16.2 mount as well.

Sire: Rosario is by Rubenstein I and was 2002 Oldenburg Regional Champion. At his Performance Test he achieved the highest dressage index. He stands out against the many popular Rubinstein sons because of his spectacular trot as well as his outstanding walk and canter.

Dam: O’ She’s Gauguin, by Opus*, is a premium ISR/Oldenburg mare out of generations of DAD winners.  She has won several regional and national championships.  In both 2008 and 2009 she was USDF Bred Mare Horse of the Year.  Her dam is by World Champion and Olympic Bronze medalist, Gauguin De Lully.  Her grand sire is Olympic Idocus, and a great uncle is Olympic Bronze Medal Winner Monaco.  O’ She’s Gauguin has produced several USDF Regional and National HOY Champions and the newly licensed stallion Master Gauguin.  Her daughter Rising Star not only has her own set of annual HOY Championship awards, but is the dam of Fresca, the 2014 USDF Training Level Adult Amateur Reserve National Champion.

Born 5/24/12, a very pretty, feminine, long-legged ISR/Oldenburg Premium filly – by far our best mover right now.  She may be the best moving foal in the country: super elastic, she springs all over the place.  Light and uphill, she is one of the only two foals we will have from Sir Flemmingh, an ISR/Oldenburg provisionally approved stallion, recently gelded by his adult amateur owner.

Sire: Sir Flemmingh was 2011 Region 4 USDF Mature Stallion Champion, and holds a certified breeding license from ISR/Oldenburg. He is a winner at DAD and consistently scored in the mid-70s under saddle with his super uphill movement, balance, and expression.  His sire Sir Donnerhall (a Sandro Hit son) won his 70-day test at Adelheidsdorf with a dressage index of 163 - a score never before achieved by a stallion.  He won the jumping category as well.  In 2006, he was the 5 year old Riding Horse Champion, and he passes on his championship quality to his foals.  Sir Flemmingh's dam Shirly is an imported Dutch mare, premium ISR/Oldenburg.  Her sire Flemmingh is one of the greatest producers of dressage horses in the world.  Her pedigree also includs Doruto and Olympic Ahorn.

Dam: Ranara is a 16.2 hands, black, premium Holsteiner and premium ISR/Oldenburg mare with gorgeous conformation. An international quality mare, she is one of the most elastic movers we have ever seen, and she has cleared pasture gates of 4'6"!  She also poduced Wontara, a multiple USDF HOY Champion. Her sire, Linaro, is a winner of stallion testing, produced another stallion test winner, and is one of the top producers of premium Holsteiner jumpers and dressage horses. Her dam, Elite J. Adleian *** is dam of three approved stallions, Opus (a three time DAD winner, and multiple USDF Horse of the Year winner!), Rubicon Z, and Altimus. Edit Text
