Sire of three stallions certified by ISR/Oldenburg
Although a stall injury limited his
showing, he has won at DAD, earned many high-score-of-show awards through 3rd level, had both in hand and under
saddle scores in the high 80s, and received several perfect 10s on his walk.
Like his sire, Masterpiece has simple, supple lateral ability. He has a natural piaffe and passage, and his walk is huge yet collectible. He is elastic and comfortable enough for anyone to sit in all gaits. (Like all our Little Bit Farm stallions, he has been used in our lesson program.) He has beautiful type and color, almost black, with a perfect length of back and leg. In addition to his talent for dressage, Masterpiece has won in rated hunters. One of the Olympic riders at his stallion test said he would be a perfect hunter if he continued on that
path.
All
Masterpiece offpspring have been sold, either in utero or before the age of one, except the two-year-old Premium Oldenburg,
Mona Lisa (Masterpiece / Hohenstein), who produced a Class I SWANA colt by Rashka, Recess, who is a multiple USDF
HOY winner and 2014 US National Training Level Open Champion, with rider Kari Schmidt. If you would like your own "Masterpiece," please contact us.
